The Pitt Business Center for Executive Education

The Center for Executive Education of the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh is one of the nation's first university-based management development facilities. We offer graduate business school level instruction in the region's premier executive training facility, Mellon Financial Corporation Hall. We developed our first program, Managing Program for Executives, in 1949.

The majority of our workshops are led by an outstanding member of the Katz School faculty who are not only engaged in research into the current best practices in their area of expertise, but are routinely recognized as excellent instructors by MBA students and business executives alike. This blend of theory, excellence in teaching, and practice explains why Katz is the preferred management development provider for many organizations.

Mellon Financial Corporation Hall is the fifth floor of the splendidly remodeled Alumni Hall, located in the heart of the University of Pittsburgh's Oakland campus. This facility was opened in 2000 and represents a state-of-the-art executive training center. The design and layout of the facility was influenced by visiting many of the finest university-based executive education centers in the country.

The Center for Executive Education offers a variety of open enrollment programs in the most current thinking of top business scholars and executives. For organizations preferring a more tailored and company specific approach, we can design and deliver programs on-site which can impact the productivity of the business.
